DANIEL’S DIARY

Decision Making Concept

But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. – Daniel 1: 8

For anything in life to work, a decision is required. If you must walk with God, your decision is what counts. God would not drag or force you to embark on a journey with him. Your WILL is needed. You must make up your mind for the journey.

Joseph made a strong decision and that is why he rejected the offer of Potiphar’s wife even it means been imprisoned. David decided that he wasn’t going to touch the lord’s anointed; he was willing to wait for his time to ascend the throne. What a man! Joshua decided that he and his family will serve the Lord. Paul decided to press towards the mark despite the oppositions and confrontations. Christ decided to fulfill the purpose of his coming to earth and that was why he surrendered his will to God.

Do you think it was easy for Abraham to leave his father’s house without a picture or an address of the land he will possess? Yet he took the bold step and moved. Don’t postpone for tomorrow what you can do today because your future lies in every single decision you make in life.

Don’t postpone for tomorrow what you can do today because your future lies in every single decision you make in life.

Don’t ever think it was easy for Isaac to stay back in a land where there was hunger all in the name of obeying the voice of God. There will always come a point in every man’s life where you would be faced with difficult situations. At this point, don’t pamper your emotions or flesh. It’s not about how you feel or what your body feels but WHAT THE SPIRIT OF GOD WANTS.

It’s not about how you feel or what your body feels but what the spirit of God wants.

Like every other person, I have had a time where I had to choose between my feelings, people, and my destiny. Hmm! It wasn’t easy but I chose my destiny, I chose to listen to God’s voice despite the consequences. Yes, my emotions may not enjoy it now, but when I arrive at that place where God wants for me, my feeling must have adjusted to the joy and happiness there.

Every crossroad in life is meant to be crossed

Every crossroad in life is meant to be crossed. DECIDE TODAY. Decide God, decide the pain and look forward to the glory. Decide purpose and destiny. Don’t be conditioned by people’s feeling. People will always not feel happy as long as they are alive and live on earth. Every decision you make today counts tomorrow. REMEMBER, IT’S NOT ABOUT HOW YOU FEEL, OR WHAT YOU WANT BUT WHAT THE SPIRIT OF GOD WANTS.

Let God lead you. Have a blessed week.
